Edgar Sanchez is a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer based in Orlando, Florida. As an actor, Edgar played the role of Angel in RENT at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts (2024). He then had the opportunity to reprise the role at the University of Central Florida (2024).
He is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida, with a BFA in Musical Theatre. His most recent projects include Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble, Bottle Dancer, U/S Russian Tenor Soloist) with Theatre UCF, and Knight to Shine, Theatre UCF’s senior showcase, where Edgar performed multiple songs, as well as choreographed various group numbers.
Edgar is from Sarasota Florida, and is currently lives in Orlando. In Edgar’s spare time, he enjoys developing and writing his own musical, with music by Kali Uchis. This project allows him to spread his creativity in many forms such as choreography, storytelling, and singing. Edgar is also in the process of becoming a pop artist, which combines his love for songwriting and producing.
